This was followed by the screening of the movie ‘Journey to Peace’, developed by Sakhamitra Ashwiniji of Studio ABCD. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful video that depicted the various facets of Acharyashri Mahapragya’s life.
The highlight of the program was a speech on Acharya Mahashraman’s book, ‘Life: Let us Learn to Live’, which was very eloquently delivered by Prof. Gary Francione, a distinguished law professor from Rutgers School of Law and an ardent follower of Jain principles. He also talked about the concepts of Ahimsa in great detail. His speech was outstanding and was very well received by the audience.
In the next segment of the program, all the volunteers, who worked very diligently towards the success of JVB NJ Path of Ahimsa program of Oct 31, were recognized and appreciated for their dedication. The Path of Ahimsa volunteers later received a small token of appreciation from Samanijis. Afterwards, Samanijis presented a beautifully composed song in appreciation of all volunteers and encouraged others to also actively participate in all activities.
The Master of ceremony was done by Tejal Gosalia.
The program ended with Mangal Path followed by Sadharmik Vatsalya.
