The Jain Samaj in Manchester celebrated Mahavir Janma Kalyanak with full enthusiasm, zeal and devotion, on Saturday 27th April 2013

Over 350 people gathered at the Jain Community Centre to celebrate the 2611th birth anniversary of the Jain prophet Lord Mahavir.

On this 10th Anniversary of the Jain Community Centre, the children from the community planted 10 trees as a form of social dedication to honour not only what the tree is desired to represent on a social level, but also honour the importance of what the tree will provide to the world through its lifetime.
