Spiritual Training Programme TPF (Terapanth Professional Forum) in association with JVBI (Jain Vishva Bhararti Institute) brings you the online certification courses in Theoretical and Practical aspects of Jainism. Attending classroom sessions may be difficult for a vast majority of people on a regular basis. Keeping this in mind we got blessings of Acharya Shree Mahashramanji to make these courses available online. Overall, the courses will be in two tracks - Theory and Practice.
Theory track: This track focuses on the theoretical aspects of Jain Philosophy. The emphasis in this track will be to create strong foundation of Jainism. The first course in this track is Basics of Jain Philosophy. Practice Track: This track focuses on practical aspects of Jainism. First course planned in this track is on Preksha Meditation. This can help us in living a happy and tension free life. Further courses will be introduced on Anuvrat and Science of living.
The courses will be made available in the form of online video lectures. One video lecture will be made available per week. These lectures will be approximately of 60-80 minutes duration. The video lectures will be available for viewing for the entire duration of the course. Optionally, you can download the videos for offline viewing. Prescribed textbooks along with information on how to procure, will also be mentioned on the course page.
Self-assessment quizzes will also be conducted online to help you assess your progress. Discussion forums and FAQs (Frequently asked Questions) can be used to effectively learn the concepts.
Certification: At the end of each course a final written examination will be conducted by Jain Vishva Bharati Institute at different locations throughout the country. JVBI will issue certificates to all successful participants. These courses are offered at a nominal fee. This fee offer is valid till 30th September 2013. How to Signup? Please note that you can only sign up for one course at a time. You need to first register at course.tpf.org.in After that you will receive login details in email. On logging on, you can see the courses and signup. Course fee need to be paid by cash/cheque/DD in favour of “Terapanth Professional Forum”. The fee can be paid either at the local TPF branch or you can send DD/Cheque to the following address:
