We would like to inform you that Respected Samani Vishad Pragyaji peacefully departed for heavenly abode in India on 16 July 2014.
Prayers will be held in the presence of Respected Samani Pratibha Pragyaji and Kanti Pragyaji tomorrow Sunday 20 July 2014 between 10am - 11am at

About five years ago, Samani Vishad Pragyaji found out that she uncurable cancer. She decided to minimise all medical treatment and spend her time in spirituality.
On 16-July-2014, under the direction of Acharya Mahashramanji, she was given the vows of Santharo (voluntary renunciation) at 0610. Although being semi-conscious, she consented to accept the vow of diksha and was ordained as Sadhvi Vishad Chetnaji at 0910. With immense joy and serenity on her face, she departed for heavenly abode at 0912 at a young age of 34 years.
She became Samani in 2001, achieved an MA from Jain Vishwa Bharati University and had travelled to USA, London, Indonesia, Singapore and Dubai. Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Terapanth Sangh for the loss of such a pious soul.
