Samani Jayant Pragya

Jai Jinendra,

Join us for the Prayer, Meditation and Pravachan during Gyan-Sabha this Sunday, Oct 19th @ 10:30 AM followed by Lunch. (hall doors to remain close during meditation).

To celebrate JVB’s 15th Anniversary in Houston & 5th Anniversary of the current center, JVB patrons graced the occasion by actively participating in the festivities held on Sunday, Oct 12th with much fervor. The day started early with Adhar Abhishek Pooja of Bhagwan Mahavir by Reverend Shri Jayesh Khona (from California) followed by Aarti.  Several devotees took the labh of this special, once a year, Pooja which lasted for over three hours.

Post lunch, the program started under auspicious guidance of Samani Sanmati Pragyaji & Sanmati Jayant Pragyaji with the recitation of Navkar Mahamantra. JVB's president Nikhil Jain paid his respectful tribute to the founder of JVB H.H.Acharya Tulsi, the present Guru, Acharya Mahashramanji and Samaniji who are the messenger of Gurudev stationed in Houston. He further welcomed the community members including those who had supported our center by “Tan, Mun and Dhan” and have been supporting since then (click here for volunteer names).

The cultural program was aptly crafted and prepared by the JVB cultural team- Seema, Pooja, Mukta, Anusha, and Pradeep Jain. Young & Talented kids of JVB Gyanshala ages 4-14 stormed the stage with their respective performances and won the accolades from the audience. The presentations of Darshan Vihar and Charitra Vihar were full of messages, on Unity as well as on removing Anger, Ego and Sadness from life. The climax of the cultural program was much awaited special Qawwali led by JVB Members. Special thanks to Dilip Kapasi & Nishad Kanhere for live music.

JVB Chairman, Shri Swatantra Jain's spirited speech appreciated all volunteers and the enthusiasm with which JVB Gyanshala kids & parents performed. Samani Sanmati Pragyaji addressed the audience with her simple but very powerful discourse. She said that we are celebrating Acharya Tulsi birth centenary this year, who has done many humanitarian work in his life. Samaniji emphasized that JVB is a Journey, a place for exploring spirituality for life, inspiration to develop moral conduct and equanimity. If one stays detached from material possessions, then he/she becomes the part of natural system (law of nature) where only Prosperity, Success, Honor and Solutions prevail.

We sincerely thank & appreciate all the Attendeees, Volunteers, Pooja participants and Gyanshala Kids for making this celebration a memorable one. To view cebebration pictures click here

Warm Regards,

Amit Sacheti
