International Conference on Science and Jain Philosophy [ICSJP]
Young Researchers’ Program
The International Conference on Science and Jain Philosophy is being organized by Bhagawan Mahavira International Research Centre (BMIRC) of Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI), Rajasthan at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai during January 8-10, 2016. To encourage and motivate young research scholars to participate in the conference, a Young Researchers’ Program has been planned. Those who wish to participate in this session are welcome to register and send an abstract of their presentation.
- Abstracts of about 200-250 words are invited from young researchers on the topics centered on the main theme of the conference. The scholar must be below the age of 35 and must be actively involved in research and education.
- Each participant will be given ten minutes to present his/her paper which will be judged on the basis of novelty and substance of the presentation.
- There will be three awards in order of merit and will carry a cash prize of Rs.5000 for the 1st prize, Rs.3000 for the 2nd prize, and Rs.2000 for the 3rdprize, a citation and a memento. Each participant will be given an Appreciation Certificate.
- The presentations will be judged by an eminent jury comprising of scientists and philosophers.
- The award winning papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Conference.
