Large deciduous trees. Leaves crowded at the end of branches, petiolate, digitately 5-7 foliolate, leaflets 5-23 x 1.5-9cm., ovate-lanceolate, glabrous. Flowers crowded at the end of Leaflet branches, crimson or yellowish, capsules woody, minutely apiculate, reddish brown. The bark of the tree is used to cure some skin disorders.
