I and several JAINA members attended Veerayatan Global Conference in Rajgiri, India last week. Focus was on upliftment of poor through free Education. JAINA will continue to collaborate in this noble effort.

On the way from Shikharji to Veerayatan (Rajgir), JAINA team visited Rujuvalika Tirth where Bhagwan Mahavir attained Kevalgyan after deep meditation of twelve and a half years.

The Parliament of World Religions is the biggest and most widely known and respected global platform in the interfaith community. Swami Vivekananda and Virchand Raghavajee Gandhi made their debut and brought awareness and respect to Hinduism and Jainism.

Mr. Kirit Daftary has effectively served as Trustee. His term will end in December 2016. JAINA would like to appoint 2 Trustees to continue to promote peace and nonviolence. The ideal candidate for Parliament Trustee would possess.

Young Jains of America(YJA) is holding its Biennial Convention in Los Angeles from July 1 - 4, 2016.
