6.1: Entering India on the way towards Biratnagar

Acharya Mahashraman has already planned the four month rainy season camping for 2015 at Biratnagar, Nepal. H.H is now on the way towards Biratnagar and plans to reach Rajbiraj, Nepal on 19th June for 7 days camping. H.H. to enter Indian territory on 27th June on the way towards Biratnagar and then re-enter on 11th July for 10 days camping at Forbesganj, India. H.H. plans to re-enter Nepal on 22nd July and also reach Biratnagar on same day for the rainy season camping.

9th - 18th June
Acharya Mahashraman completed 4 days stay at Janakpur and started towards the next major destination - Rajbiraj, on 9th June morning hours.

9th Jun: Nuns paying obeisance while Acharya Mahashraman passing by nuns’ camp at Mouwahi


Acharya Mahashraman kept preaching value based living and principles of Ahimsa Yatra to the villagers en-route and regularly held morning hour discourse assemblies at all camping villages H.H. went.

19th - 26th June: camping in Rajbiraj

Acharya Mahashraman reached Rajbiraj on 19th June in morning hours, after a walk of 12 from Khoksar.

21st June is celebrated as International Yoga Day. H.H. elaborated on meditational practices in the morning hour assembly and guided the assembly with a meditation session.

H.H. visited Nepal Army Barrack in Rajbiraj on 22nd June. Addressing hundreds of soldiers, H.H. discussed about service to nation and inspired them for peaceful, honest and addiction free life style. Rajbiraj Terapanth Yuvak Parishad organized a procession based on theme of addiction free lifestyle on 23rd June.

H.H. visited houses of many of the followers in Rajbiraj during the 1 week camping. H.H. started from Rajbiraj towards Hanuman Nagar on 26th June in the morning hours.
27th June:
Discourse while raining

Acharya Mahashraman had to delay the morning journey from Hanuman Nagar as it started raining after the sunrise. H.H decided to have the morning hour discourse at Hanuman Nagar itself. H.H. arrived at assembly area outside Terapanth Bhawan and took sit at a shop. Listeners sat at open on the road. As soon as the program commenced, it started raining. People didn’t want to discontinue discourse and didn’t leave the open assembly area. They didn’t want to miss the opportunity to listen to H.H. Gauzing people’s feeling; H.H continued the discourse and people braved the rain to listen the discourse.

Volunteers fetched a tent during the discourse and held it but still many people were outside the tent area.

It was raining occasionally during the journey. The road condition was not good. There were many potholes, that to filled with water due to rain. All these made today’s journey difficult.


Ahimsa Yatra crossing River Koshi


After a walk of 5 KM, H.H. crossed the river Koshi to enter India once again after 88 days and camped at Bhimnagar, India on 27th June.


27th - 29th June:

H.H. started for Birpur, India in the morning hours of 28th June and held 2 days camping at Birpur.

Acharya Mahashraman started from Birpur, India towards Harinagra, Nepal in the morning hours. H.H. entered Nepal once again today. H.H. addressed army personnel at the Basmatia border post in Indian territory and then crossed over to Nepalese territory.

Thousands of people of Nepal welcomed H.H. in their home land. After a walk of 15.5 KM, H.H. arrived at Harinagra, Nepal.
