Non-articulate Jīva (soul)-
- The living being which is devoid of the capability to speak, due to the absence of bio-potential of speech, e.g., one-sensed living being.
(Prajñavṛ Pa 139)
- The living being which is devoid of capacity to speak inspite of being possessed of the bio-potential of speech, e.g., a dumb person.
- inspite of having bio-potential of speech and capacity to speak, one who is not speaking, e.g., one who is observing silence.
- Ayogī- one who has transcended all the activities of mind, speech and body, i.e., the soul existing in the fourteenth Guṇasthāna (stage of spiritual development).
