On day 4 of Samani Mangal Prajnaji & Samani Prassana Prajnaji Dubai visit -Samaniji guided appx. 130 members of Deira Park Yoga Group thru Preksha Meditation at 0600 Hrs.
Samani Mangal Prajnaji, Samani Prassana Prajnaji and R.K. Bengani in a meditation posture at Deira Park
Samani Mangal Prajnaji and Samani Prassana Prajnaji with some of the members of Deira Park Yoga Group.
During daytime, Samaniji guided interested individuals thru meditation and clarified number of their questions on Jain philosophy, diet, mental and emotional health etc. Samaniji visited some devotees' homes seeking alms. The devotees were so really pleased with this because very rarely one gets a chance of giving alms to jain monks and nuns and specially so in a place like Dubai.
Evening programme started at 2100 hrs with prayer recitals. Samani Prassana Prajnaji recited a very interesting poem emphasizing the need for use of each and every moment of one's time in productive manner, which can lead him towards self-realisation. She continued by citing benefits of Preksha Meditation towards this end and stressed that unnecessary planning, unnecessary thinking, unnecessary memories etc. are big time wasters, which should be avoided.
Samani Mangalprajnaji began by educating the audience as to how one can really learn to concentrate and maintain the state of concentration during prayers, rosary counting, meditation etc. To achieve this, she emphasized the need of controlled, rhythmic and balanced breathing techniques, importance of psychic centres in our body and various colour schemes associated with these psychic centres.
Samani Mangalprajnaji continued that average person focuses on 'TO HAVE'. He does not focus on 'TO BE'. She stressed that a number of problems surface whenever 'TO HAVE' dominates.
The evening concluded with recital of a very inspiring poem by Samani Mangalprajnaji - meaning what we one may remember but at the same time what one has forgotten - such as one may float with the waves but has forgotten to swim with arms; one may have some dream destinations but has forgotten to walk.
