“Om Namah Siddibahyo”
Ninth day (14/Sep/2016) of Dashalakshna Maha Parva: Uttama Akinchanya Dharma (Non-attachment) - Not to get attach our-self physically & emotionally.
Jain Monks follow non-attachment to highest level (Mahavratha), they not only detach themselves to household but also in the process of not to attach Soul from the Physical body.
We has a layman (Shravak/Sharvaki) practice (Anuvratha) Non-attachment by Vyavahara (Worldly life) and Nischya (Spiritual).
Vyavahara(Worldly life): Practice detachment in attachment, try to detach (or Minimum use) from external possessions like - 'Land, House, Silver, Gold, Wealth, Food (Grain), Female/Male servants, Garments and Utensils'. This detachment also provides us freedom and peace of mind in our daily life.
Nischya(Spiritual): We should practice to be emotionally strong and detach from internal attachments (Maya/Illusion) - False belief (Mithytava), Anger, Pride, Deceit, Greed, Laughter, Liking, Disliking, Sorrow, Fear, Disgust, Sexual desire. This can be achieved from Meditation, Yoga & Reading Jain scripts (Swadhaya).
Detachment from all these emotion, we become strong from inside and try to feel the true nature of Soul.
Finally detach the Soul from the body to attain Samadi marana.
Note: We request all the members to start Dashalakshan Parva practising (Promise yourself) to speak less, to be calm, to be polite, to be humble, to be good, to be content, to be self control, to be happy, to forgive, to detached from unwanted and practice to continue the same in your daily life.
