Samanis Jyoti And Dr. Sambodh Pragya In Indonesia

Members of the Indonesian Jain community had invited Samanijis Jyoti Pragya (l) and Dr. Sambodh Pragya (r) to Indonesia from 19 th May to 19 th June 2006 to give classes to the Jain community and to the workers of their companies. During their stay, the Samanis are hosted by various families at different locations, as can be seen in the schedule below:

Every day from morning to evening, the Samanis are giving 4 classes. Early in the morning, they start with Yoga classes, which are followed by different classes for female workers later in the morning. In the afternoon, there are programs for ladies and children. At night, they give discourses on lifestyle, meditation, Mantras and spiritual songs.

Every Sunday, big programs are held for the community in big gatherings. 125 people attended the program on Sunday, 20th May 2006. Samani Dr. Sambodh Pragya wrote down her impressions in the following report:

Arham. India has got a great and rich culture with much spiritual power and pure spiritual leaders. Other countries demand this spirituality and call spiritual people from India, because people are full of tensions. Acharya Mahaprajna is one of the greatest spiritual leaders of India. His Holiness Acharya has founded Preksha Meditation and Science of Living, Jeevan Vigyan. Mahaprajnaji's disciples, the Samanis, go abroad to teach the Jain lifestyle. In this process, Samanis Dr. Sambodh & Jyoti Pragya have come to Indonesia, following an invitation of Mr. C. R. Dugar, president of PT. Elegant Textile Industry.

Samanijis work very hard here. They arrange four classes in a day. In the morning, they arrange yoga classes for the people. Indonesian and Indian people attend them. In Elegant Company, there is a class for female Indonesian workers. It is a class of Yoga and meditation. In the afternoon, there is a class for ladies and children. All Indian people take part in this class. Samanijis give Sanskaras to children. The children take keen interest in this class. At night, Samanis give discourses on and teachings in practices and sing spiritual songs. All Indian and Indonesian people take interest in practices. Specially, they like meditation and relaxation. In this way, Samanijis are very busy.

On Sunday, 20 th May 2006, there was a big programme, which was attended by 125 people. People were very happy after the programme. Mr. Meeru Metani was very interested. He invited Samanijis. Many company directors followed the program. Big programs will be held every Sunday. Samanijis will visit many places here.
