On 17 th July 2006, Dr. Samani Mangal Pragya has been appointed as academic as well as administrative pro-vice-chancellor of Jain Vishva Bharati Institute, Ladnun, where she has taken charge of her office. She is now the second person in the university after the vice-chancellor.
She is double postgraduate and had done her doctorate in Jainism. From the last 24 years, she had been teaching the graduate and postgraduate classes. She had given lectures on Anekant, Jain Philosophy, and mitigation of conflicts in Virginia, Colombia, Connecticut, Mary Bold Win Universities in the USA. She had also participated in and presented papers at conferences, organized in the USA, U.K., Italy, Nepal, United Arabian Emirates, Malta and many European countries, on the subjects non-violence, peace education, environment, eradication of poverty, stress management, World Peace, Religious Tolerance etc.
