Piṇḍaiṣaṇā

1.Bhiksā- Accepting food by going to houses for collecting it in conformity with the canonical instruction, with special resolves. There are seven types of Piṇḍaiṣaṇā. piṇḍaṃ samayabhāsayā bhaktaṃ tasyaiṣaṇā grahaṇaprakārāḥ.

2.The first chapter of Āyārcūlā, which is the second śrutaskandha of the first principal canonical work;it deals with both Piṇḍaiṣaṇā (1) and Pānaiṣaṇā (accepting of drinks (water etc.)).
