We try to understand religion from various perspectives - philosophical, cultural, and spiritual. Rajeev will use financial theory to explain the value of Jainism. Black and Scholes are two Nobel laureates who developed the option pricing theory which is extensively used in the financial markets to trade derivatives. Rajeev will explain the theory in simple terms and apply it to understand the option of practising Jain religion.

Rajeev Shah has a Masters in Engineering from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA from Oxford University, UK. He has worked with GE, Bear Stearns, Deutsche Bank and is currently working as a financial consultant with Sungard.
