Paryushan 2006 - Editors' Note

Published: 19.08.2006

The Paryushan Festival is meant to be a time of introspection, meditation and purification. When the London Samanijis invited us to celebrate it together with the members of the London Jain community at JVB London, both of us wondered how we can go both, since there would be no new publications during this time in HereNow4U. Since 2004, editor Karuna Jain was in London for Paryushan, editor Aparigraha Jain stayed in Berlin and maintained the continuity of work in HereNow4U. Many times, our London Jain friends urged us next time to come both of us, and this year, when we were planning our schedule, we do not resist and enjoy the invitation from 19th-29th August. We will continue our work after Paryushan.
