"Right outlook is necessary to perform right actions. A person with right outlook can earn his livelihood through honest means forever. A person ignorant truth, honesty and moral values is blind, when to earn money is the only objective of his life. Thus right outlook is necessary for the development of his personality." These thoughts were expressed by Acharya Mahaprajna in Borawada; famous city for marble business where a huge audience was gathered.
Further continuing the discourse Acharya Mahaprajna said, "Money is the cause for many crimes. It can be divided in two types, productive and unproductive. Money deposited in Swiss Banks and never used is known as unproductive money. It is just like stones, stored for satisfying one's greed. When a man starts earning and goes crossing every limit without thinking on its utility or necessity, he is not able to see anything else because he is attached so much to money."
Discussing on Indian culture Acharya Shree said, "The ashram system prevalent in ancient time was a system to create harmony between attachment & renunciation. In that system the first 25 years were devoted to deep studies, the second 25 years to worldly life. Then the time came for understanding & living the spiritual life. The spiritual life was the only goal. Today’s an unbalanced life-style with its blind race for materialism is the basic cause of the accelerating crime graph.
The Soul is immortal, the body is mortal. The highest goal of our life should be the perception of the soul by meditation. This will help us to change the flow of our thoughts & emotions and divert our interest from object (matter) to subject (Soul). Subjective outlook is one means to develop a society ready for solving the actual problems. When man reforms himself, society will be reformed as well.
Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanjee focused on a value based life style as a hindrance to invite difficulties into one’s life. |
