In Jainism mostly used for caturvidha-sangha, the fourfold order of society, as founded by a Tirthankara, consisting of

  • monk (Sadhu)
  • nun (Sadhvi)
  • layman (Shravak)
  • laywoman (Shravika)
meaning the complete sangh (sakala sangha).
