The festival of Holi is a springtime festival in India, celebrated every year on the day after full moon in March. People are running on the streets and smearing each other with brightly hued powders and coloured water.

The colours of Holi are an expression of Nature’s springtime mood. As much as they are a reflection of the world’s surface, the colours are also a reflection of the emotion of all living things during this special transition of the seasons. In particular the human heart rejoices as the opportunity to recharge the vitality of mind, body and spirit arises. This is a time for people to harmonize with nature, and passionately embrace the pulse of the life within all beings.
