About

Muni Sukh Lal initiated the basic structures of Anuvrat Movement in 21st century in India. Untiringly he walked with the monks in his group to the most remote villages in Rajasthan and addressed the people. His intention was and is  to underline how important it is in a rapidly changing world to choose an ethical base for one’s actions or non-actions in the form of taking small vows,  Anuvratas. After the lectures he and the monks of his group instructed their audience how to practice Ahimsa and answered their questions.

This initiative grew into a special branch of  Anuvibha, Rastriya Anuvrat Shikshak Sansad Sansthan. Anuvrat teachers participated in Ahimsa Training Camps and so became Ahimsa Trainers themselves. Meanwhile 83 centres in 8 federal states give Ahimsa Training to nearly 15,000 people daily.
