►Develop Contrary Feelings To Come Over The Negative Habits
Jaipur, August 11, 2008

Wishes and desires have the sky as its limit. As rising tides lifts all the boats, similarly rising wishes & desires fuels the anger, ego, materialism in a man which results in the violent activities. Hence these activities need to be kept in control so that they don’t drive man to wrong path. Meditation & Anupreksha (Contemplation) can be the best tool to control these evil’s horns.

These views are expressed by Yuvacharya Mahashraman in his daily discourse at Anuvibha.

He continued further - to change any habit or action, develop the contrary feeling. He explains the same by giving example - If you want to win anger, develop the quality of forgiveness by thinking it again & again. If want to come over of ego, develop the feeling of courtesy & politeness. Similarly greediness is controlled by the quality of content.

Prof. Samani Chaitaniya Pragya, who come to Jaipur after participating in the World Conference of Philosophy at Seoul, describe the round table conference on Jain philosophy held there. She said that first time in the 100 year of World Conference history, Jain philosophy was discussed among more than 2000 philosophers present there. She suggested that this conference to be organized in India in next decade.
