Acharya Mahapragya: Take a pledge to develop the practice of meditation along with knowledge
“I don’t give importance to the naked knowledge. It should be adorned with meditation. To understand the life, nature, micros of universal & soul’s truth, just knowledge is not sufficient, meditation also plays a vital role in solving these puzzles. “Man with Intuition” Acharya Jeetmal was the prominent meditation practitioner. He sits for three- three hours in a meditation posture. He was the ocean of knowledge on one side and on other; his small body dimension sheltered the highly developed soul. He was not only a monk or head of sect rather it seems that he was the incarnation of some brightest soul. We try to understand his outstanding personality and wish to make ourself as Jayacharya by taking pledge to develop the meditation along with education”
Paying tribute to one of the greatest Acharya of Terapanth, Acharya Mahapragya expresses the above thoughts in the Jayacharya Death Ceremony Programme held at Jaycharya chatri at Ram Niwas Garden on 28 august 2008.
Emphasizing on his characteristics, he said - If you want to be Jayacharya then try to become his disciple. And along with devotion, fuel up the energy of the soul also. The mantras created by him are powerful and we need to understand their power and utilize them to develop our self. To become Jayacharya means to learn the coordination of meditation with knowledge, devotion with power and rituals with transformation.
Yuvacharya Mahashraman, in his address told that knowledge of great soul shines like sun. Jayacharya took his education from Muni Hemraj ji swami till twelve years. He was very successful scholar and had the special feeling of gratitude towards his teacher. He was the lover of discipline and exercises the same on himself.
In reference to the first day of Auspicious Paryushan Festival, Yuvacharya encourages the mass to observe it as the Food Restraint Day.
Mahashramani Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakprabha ji said that – Jayacharya had created a vast literature not only by thoughts but through his deep activated consciousness. He was the great poet of Rajasthani language who has created three lac stanzas on different subjects. He was like the incarnation of Acharya Bhikshu and his devotion, faith, knowledge and graciousness become the valuable heritage and foundation of Terapanth and we are progressing continually on the basis of that.
Programme is organized by Terapanth Yuvak Parishad under Acharya Mahapragya Pravas Vyastha Samiti. The chief guest of programme former King of Jaipur Maharaja Bhawani singh attended the programme with full devotion.
Many others have expressed their feelings on this eve. Monks & nuns express their feeling through songs.
►Blood Donation Camp
A large blood donation camp is organized at Ram Niwas Garden by Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Jaipur & Kanti kumar Dugar Memorial Trust. Camp coordinator Shri Surendra Sethia told 354 units of blood has been collected in camp which has been used at different hospital units.
