Paryushan 2008 at Keshkal, Chhattisgarh

Shri Sushil Bafana & Shri Mahendra Baid from Kolkatta had gone to KESHKAL, Chattisgarh as Upasak for helping the local resident to practice the rituals & spirituality in the Paryushan festival.

The daily discourse of morning were held as per the schedule from centre and the evening programmes were organised very well. Many competition were held in the evening from 28.08 - 03.09.08. People of all ages had participated with full spirit and preparation.
Asha Tater, Seema tater, Rajshri are few who stood first in different competitions.

Shri Jasraj Tater, President of Terapanth Sabha, Keshkal had played a vital role for making all the arrangements of both the Upasaks and for the sucess of eight days program. He is very aware about his responsibilities and tried best so that the local people can take full benefit of these eight days religious programme.

Upasak Shri Sushil Bafana and Shri Mahendra Baid had a good time there. They, while guiding others, got an golden opportuniy to dive deep in knowledge to explain in simple language. On the Samvatsari (04.09.2008), programme starts at 9.00 am and continue till 4.00 pm.

In this programme, life histroy of Bhagwan Mahavir was explained including his various past rebirths. After life of Bhagwan Mahavira, life histroy and contribution of various renound Jain Acharyas was explained along with the histroy of Terapanth.

In evening, group Pratikraman was held where people had apologised for all the past mistakes and beg sorry for any sort of their mistakes that hurts other.
