Khori is a small village with 150 households near Tamkor.  Samani Pratibha Pragya and Maitri Pragya visited Khori on 17th May 2009. A Preksha Meditation Camp was organised there, which attracted a participation of around seventy-five people.

Samani Pratibha Pragya addressed the villagers “Our life has its purpose. If we do not pay attention it is passing away from us. Mostly, villagers are addicted to tobacco and alcohol. This is a curse on their happy and healthy family-life. They spend money on addiction due to which their children are devoid of higher education. The time has come to awake from the sleep. Come out from bad habits. Acharya Shri Mahapragya has given us a remedy to come out from dependence of tobacco and alcohol. This can be achieved through Preksha Meditation and Yoga.”

Samani Maitri Pragya delivered her speech and conducted a session on Hands Posture (Mudra). Ahimsa Parshikshak (Nonviolence Trainer) Mr. Pradeep Prajapat presented Anuvrat Geet and was responsible for all operational activities for organizing the camp. After the camp, villagers gave their feedback and said that with help of such camps and Samaniji, half of the villagers were able to come out of addiction of alcohol. Villagers also requested a regular camp to be held on a monthly basis. It is known fact that Samani Pratibha Pragya is working in a rural development project at the birth place of Acharya Shree Mahapragya. Near by Tamkor village there are ninety Ahimsa Parshikshak Kendra (Nonviolence Training Centres) running in Jhunjhunun district, Rajasthan. Khori is also one of them.
