German Elections 2009 - Special:

On Tuesday last week, Avaaz-supporters welcomed chancellor Merkel at each and every stop of her train tour through Germany, asking for a green new deal - in a personal conversation! We made such an impact Merkel herself came over to ask: “Are you guys everywhere?” We have to keep this drive for the final spurt of the campaign, convincing the top candidates of CDU, SPD and FDP that we, the climate voters, are playing a decisive role in this election!
