In the pious presence of Sadhvishri Kanakshriji, the learned disciple of Yugpradhan Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji; Acharya Shri Tulsi’s, founder of Anuvrat 96th birthday was celebrated as “Anuvrat Diwas” by the Terapanthi Sabha, Kolkata and Bang Pradeshik Anuvrat Samiti in collaboration.

The event organised at the Pragya Samvasaran of the Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Sabha was commenced by the chorus song presented by the members of Mahila Mandal, Kolkata.

Learned disciple Sadhvi shri Kanakshriji addressed Gurudev Shri Tulsi as a man of hundred years and said - Acharya Shri Tulsi was born on 20th October, 1914 and till the last decade of the Twentieth century, 23rd July, 1997 bore the torchlight of humanity. He was influential in the Twentieth century through his ascending thinking, fundamental connection, powerful elucidation and throughout the country Padyatras. Discussing the influential personality and management of Acharya Shri Tulsi, Sadhvishri Kanakshriji informed about his mobility, nobility, virtue as a creator, etc. She said - revolutionizing the Anuvrat Mission, he initiated a revolution in the religious sector. Communal equality, courtesy for all religions, installation of humanity, purification of business, preaching of non - violence, etc - were the tools for Anuvrat and said - the objective of Anuvrat is to enlighten the masses on patience and self - discipline.

Requesting the masses Sadhvishri Madhulataji said - on the birth anniversary of Gurudev let us imbibe those values which Gurudev had lived. Patience, simplicity, simple thinking, morality and hard work zealously inspire all. He dedicated himself to sainthood and poetical faith. Sadhvishri Madhulekhaji presented a description of the life of the founder of Anuvrat. Smt. Alkaji, an eloquent speaker on Anuvrat from Surat presented her sorted out thoughts. Shri Karan Singh Nahata, president of Sabha; Shri Binod Kumar Choraria, secretary of Sabha; Shri Pradeep Singhi, vice - secretary of Anuvrat Samiti; Shri Ratanlal Baid, Smt Amraw Baid; and the others discussed the conduct of Shri Tulsi and recognised Anuvrat as the strength for finding a healthy society. Shri Bhanwarlal Singhi, national convenor of Mahasabha, efficiently managed the event.
