International Dialogue Between Islam And Oriental Religions

Held in New Delhi during 20-21 February 2010
Venue: Ansari Auditorium - Jamia Millia Islamia

On the initiative of Indian Muslim Organisations and Qatar based Union of Muslim scholars and individuals belonging to other religions, this dialogue had taken place. The leaders and scholars of Islam, Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism took part in this conference. Eminent speakers had focused commonality of beliefs putting their religion’s views and of Islam. They stressed need of having good relations among the different faiths based on humane and civilised behaviour, tolerance and better understanding and co-existence.

We five speakers from Jainism put our views focusing the non-violence, peace and tolerance practiced for other faiths in Jainism: Dr. Fool Cand Jain "Premi", Dr, Veer Sagar Jain, Dr. Sudeep Jain, Dr. Anekant Jain
