You GOT talent, and we GOT a stage!
Introducing for the FIRST TIME EVER ---> "Jains Got Talent" competition during JAINA Convention 2011 in Houston, TX. If you are talented in singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, or wish to exhibit a talent that you would like to showcase, we have a platform for you!
This competition is open for all ages (from 3 years onwards) and all areas of talent. There will be two categories: 18 & below, and above 18. The contestants in each category will be competing against each other. This is a great opportunity to show off your talent and win prizes! All interested individuals are invited to be a part of this exciting competition!
Interested individuals should submit an audition video (no more than 5 minutes long) or web link of YouTube clip displaying their talent either by mail. The audition video/link and registration form must be received by April 1, 2011 (Click Here for Registration Form).
Selected acts will be invited to compete in Round 1 on Friday, July 1, 2011. Round 1 will be judged by a panel of judges. Further rounds will be judged by the audience!

JAINA Convention Souvenir advertisement
Every JAINA convention publishes a souvenir book. The Souvenir book will have many great articles about Jainism and about the theme of the convention, "Live and Help Live", in all three languages, English, Gujarati, and Hindi. Souvenir book will also have many great pictures such of convention preparation, volunteers, various team pictures, sanghpatis’ pictures, convention city, and others.
Souvenir book is given to every family member who has registered for the convention, in a welcome bag and is also distributed to all JAIN centers across North Americas and some in India. The souvenir book is read by about 20,000 Jains.
This is a great opportunity for members of Jain Society of Houston to be part of the history making 16th Biennial JAINA Convention. Souvenir team is now accepting names of families, businesses advertisements, personal greetings and well wishes. All advertisements are in color.
The rates of advertisements are:
1. Full Page: $1100 (Up to 2 Families)
2. Half Page: $600
3. Quarter Page: $350
4. Uniquely identifiable, graphically designed, couple of pages reserved especially for Jain Society of Houston members where 108 family names will be featured. This option is limited to 108 Families on a first come basis: $251 each
