We thank you for participating and supporting the LOVE OF FAITH Charity Walk. Over 350 people of the Jain community, along with people of other Faiths will walk through Central London visiting various places of worship, culminating at Westminster Abbey. By celebrating the unity of world religions and spreading the universal message of love and harmony, this landmark event will raise awareness of the Jain principles of Anekantvad (acceptance of different viewpoints) and Ahimsa (non-violence and love).
Reflecting the Jain commitment of helping those in need, the Walkers will also raise funds to support charities that are providing exceptional service in promoting children’s health and welfare projects in the developing world.
The LOVE OF FAITH website is being launched on 15 May 2012. The initial response we have had suggests an overwhelming interest of participation, but due to logistical reasons, we are limited in the number of people we can accept. Due to these restrictions, the Registration of Interest will be open for a limited period only –from 15-24 May, 2012. Successful applicants will be notified by 28 May, 2012. To avoid disappointment, we request everyone to please register themselves as early as possible at www.loveoffaith.org
We would love your members to be able to participate, so kindly circulate this email to your membership at the earliest so that they have the opportunity to register their interest. Please find attached a Leaflet that provides relevant information about the Walk.
We also request members who are unable to join us on the Walk to support this worthwhile cause by contributing generously at www.loveoffaith.org
