Jeevan Vigyan, Science of Living, aims to add a new dimension to the field of education based on the idea that intellectual development alone does not provide any solution for the burning ethical problems of the time.

For the revival of values and fuller development of the human personality, the subject of Science of Living has been conceived and developed, its source of inspiration is Anuvrat Disciplinarian Shri Tulsi. His thoughts have been further developed and expanded by Acharya Shri Mahapragya.

It was meant to bring about balanced development of the two hemispheres of the brain, resulting in a stable value based personality together with intellectual development.

The system of Preksha Meditation together with Preksha Yoga and breathing exercises was worked out as a valid means to change the society by changing the individuals constituting the society.

In this movement the spiritual (inside) and the social (outside) aspect of Jainism are combined.
