Acharya Jeetmal Language: Rajasthani: 5~तीर्थंकर सुमति प्रभु सुमति जिनेश्वर साहिब शोभता। सुमति जिनेश्वर साहिब शोभता,सुमति करण संसार। सुमति जप्या थी सुमति बधै घणी,सुमति सुमति -दातार।।१।। ध्यान सुधारस निरमल ध्याय नै,पाम्या केवल नाण । बाण सरस वर जन बहु तरिया,तिमिर हरण जगभाण।।२।। फटिक- सिंहासण जिनजी फबता,तरु अशोक उदार। छत्र चमर भामंडल भलकतो, सुर-दुन्दुभि झीणकार।।३।। पुष्प- वृष्टि दिव्य -ध्वनि दिपती, साहिब जग सीणगार। अनन्त ज्ञान दर्शन बलि चरण ही,द्वादश गुण श्रीकार।।४।। वाण अमी सम उपशम-रस भरी,दुर्गति-मूल कषाय। शिव -सुख नां अरी शब्दादिक कह्या,जग-तारक जिनराय।।५।। अंतर्यामी! शरणे आपरै,हूँ आयो अवधार। जाप तुमारो निश -दिन सम्भरुं,शरणागत सुखकार।।६।। संवत उगणीसै सुदि पख भाद्रवै,बारस मंगलवार। सुमित जिनेश्वर तन मन स्यूं रट्या,आनंद उपनो अपार।।७।।		Bhagwan Sumatinatha Symbol - Curlew / Goose

{5~तीर्थंकर सुमति प्रभु}
अर्हत् सुमति! तुम शोभित हो रहे हो। तुम सुमति करने वाले हो ।

१.सुमति का जाप करने से सुमति की अतिशय वृद्धि होती है।सुमति! तुम सुमति के दाता हो।

२.प्रभो! तुमने अमृत -रसमय निर्मल ध्यान के द्वारा केवलज्ञान प्राप्त किया।अपनी सरस और श्रेष्ट वाणि के द्वारा अनेक लोगों को पार पहुंचाया।प्रभो! तुम अंधकार को दूर करने के लिए जगत् में सूर्य हो।

३.विशाल अशोक वृक्ष के निचे स्फटिक सिंहासन पर तुम सुशोभित हो रहे हो ।तुम्हारे सिर पर छत्र है, दोनों पाशर्वा में चामर झूल रहे हेै,सिर के पिछे देदीप्यमान आभा मण्डल है, देव- दुन्दुभि बज रही है।

४.प्रभो! तुम्हारे समवसरण में पुष्पवृष्टि और मन को भाने वाली दिव्य ध्वनि होती है।तुम जग के श्रृंगार हो। तुम अनन्त ज्ञान,अनन्त दर्शन,अनन्त बल, अनन्त चारित्र श्रेष्ट बारह गुणों के धारक हो।

५.प्रभो! तुम्हारी अमृतोपम वाणी उपशम रस से भरी हुई है।तुमने शब्द,रूप आदि विषयों को मोक्ष -सुख का शत्रु और कषाय को दुर्गति का मूल बताया ।हे जिनेश्वर! तुम जगत को तारने वाले हो ।

६.अन्तर्यामिन! में अवधारणा पूर्वक तुम्हारी शरण में आया हूँ ।तुम शरणागत को शांति देने वाले हो,यह समझकर में दिन-रात तुम्हारा जाप कर रहा हूँ।

७.मैने तन मन से अर्हत् सुमति के नाम की रटन लगाई,इससे मुझे बहुत आनन्द मिला।

English Translation:

5th Tirthankara Sumatinatha

Arhat Sumati! You are graceful. You give good sense of thoughts.

Lord! You got Kevalgyana by vestal meditation of ambrosia delight. You made many people to cross the river of Karma by your noble and delightful voice. You are the Sun of the universe to eliminate obscurity.

You are being adorned on the Sfatik Singhasana (Quartz Throne) under the Ashoka tree, Chhatra (brolly) is on your head, Chamaras (flabellum) are being pendulated both the sides, a magnificent halo is behind your head and Dev Dundubhi (ancient trumpet of God) is being played.

Lord! Blossoms are falling and adorable peal is existing in your Samavasarana. You are the ornament of this universe and the bearer of twelve nobel merits - Anant Gyan (infinite knowledge), Anant Darshan (infinite vision), Anant Bal (infinite strength) and Anant Charitra etc.

Lord! Your heavenly voice is filled with the delight of solace. You perceived vocables, complexion etc. as enemy and Kashaya as the origin of misery. O Jineshvar! You are the mercy savior of this universe.

O Immanent Lord! I have come in your protection determinedly. You are the peace giver to ones who is in your patronage, perceiving this I am chanting your name day and night.

I ingeminated the name of Arhat Sumatinatha by body and mind, this gave me a great rejoice.
