❖ Even My Enemy Saint Should Not Wander Alone -Acarya VishudhaSagar G ❖
O, Pure Soul! In case you want to maintain the purity of your conduct; you should never move alone. Saints, who move all alone, do neither gain self-prestige/promotion, nor do they promote and glorify religion. In the opinion of Acharya Kund-kund Sami, it is better and more desirable for saint to move alone with the enemy rather than move alone when required. However, solitary wandering is not prescribed. The best way is to live in the company of the saint or saints of the equal status. If it is not possible a saint should live in the company of saints having a broom of peacock feathers. Here the heterogeneous grab (visamlingi) means (kshullaks) but not Aryikas or Kshullika. A saint should not live in the company of a lone single clothed (Elaks) and two clothed votaries, as it invites public criticism and criticism by saints as well. One may loose sense control/restraint.

❖ नाहं रामो न में वांछा, भोगेश्वपीदमे मनः! शान्तिमास्था तु मिछामी, स्वात्मन्नेव जिनो यथा!! गुरु वशिष्ट से श्री राम योगवाशिष्ट "महारामायण" [महर्षि बाल्मीकि], वैराग्य प्रकरण!
"जिन" शब्द का प्रयोग करते है श्री राम और कहते है हे गुरुवर... मैं वो राम नहीं हूँ जिसको प्रजा राम राम बुलाती है और अब मेरी वांछा भी नहीं, अब मैं मर्यादा पुरुषोतम के सत्कार को, अयोध्या नरेश के सम्मान को, और सारे वैभव को नहीं चाहता, और सांसारिक सुखो में भी मेरा मन नहीं लगता और अब मैं तो अपने ही स्वरुप में रम जाना चाहते हूँ..जिस राम में योगी रमण करते है उसी राम में मैं राम जाना चाहता हूँ...जिस प्रकार जिन अपने भीतर के राम में राम जाते है उसी प्रकार उस शुद्ध आत्मा राम में रम जाना चाहता हूँ [ये जिन शब्द को प्रयोग महर्षि बाल्मीकि ने अपनी रामायण में किया है ]!
