The camp was organised by Terapanthi Sabha Bangalore, Karnataka held under the presence of Muni Sri Jinesh Kumarji and Muni Parmanandaji under the direction of Swami Dharmanandji with the help of Prasikshs Dr. Mohanlal of Chinnai, Manic Chand Ranka of Pittur and Nirmalaji from Delhi. There were 125 enrolments for the camp. About 80 persons were attending regularly and about the same number were participating part time. Most of the participants were of young age.
Camp programme started at 5.00 a. m. and ended at 9.30 p.m. The training included Deep Breathing Meditation, Kayotsarga, H R E, Asanas and Pranayama, Contemplation lectures on Anatomy & Physiology relating to P.M. practices and philosophical aspects of P.M. In the morning Pravachans Munishri dealt with different topics of Preksha Meditation and Swami Dharmananda used to give practice of meditation and contemplation in the gathering of about 500 people.
In the opening session Dr. Acharya the minister of Medical Education Govt. of Karnataka was the chief guest. He was pleased to know that Preksha Mediation has helped medical profession by reversing heart disease the research had been done by the Dr S.C. Manchanda the former Prof. & Head of Cardiology Dept., the medical institution The All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi. On the concluding day participants expressed there experiences with great satisfaction and put there demand that this type of camps should be organised regularly at least once in a year. The president of Terapanthi Sabha, Amritlal honoured the Prashichaks and distributed the participation certificates to the participants.
