Mahavir Jayanti (Swapna) Celebration Details

Agenda
  1. Welcome and Prayers
  2. Significance of Mahavir Jayanti (Ram Gada)
  3. Mahavirswami Janam Vanchan (Samaniji)
  4. Swapna Sponsorship. There will be 16 swapnas that will require sponsorships.
(Note: Most of the Swapna sponsorship will be silent-explanation provided below)
  5. Parna, Aarti in Hindi and Gujarati, Mangal Deevo (there will be Gheeboli for these four items)
Swapna Sponsorship Details

All swapnas, except for Laxmi, will have silent sponsorships. Laxmi, Parna, Aarti(Hindi and Gujarati), and Mangal Deevo will have open sponsorships (Gheeboli). This change is made in concert with the feelings of JCM memberships.

Silent Sponsorship:
The steps are simple:

  1. You are requested to participate in Swapna celebration by sponsoring Swapna. The sponsorship amount would be $151 for each Swapna. (fyi, last year sponsorship amount was $251)
  2. Please give your name to Rajeev Jain ([email protected]) for sponsoring Swapna(s) of your choice. JCM’s goal is to have all swapnas sponsored before the event for the ease of planning and hence give your name(s) right away.
  3. More than one family will be allowed to sponsor a Swapna.
  4. JCM will announce the sponsors for each Swapna before the worship of the Swapna.
  5. You may call any of the executive committee members, if any question.
