ANUVIBHA: 9th ICPNA
Dear friend,
I am glad to inform you that we are going to organize the 9th International Conference on Peace and Nonviolent Action at Jaipur (Raj.) from Dec 17 to Dec 20, 2017. The theme for discussion this time is Science, Spirituality and Universal Peace.
The common belief is that science and spirituality are opposed to each other and it is also true in some respects. Science rejects the existence of the soul, super-soul and the creator God who is believed to control our destiny and regulate the universe. It only describes the nature of an object and believes in facts that can be verified.
On the contrary spirituality is the science of the inner world which is said to be infinitely infinite holding the key to our success and happiness. It is invisible but its presence can be felt by those whose passions have been conquered or suppressed.
Science has revolutionized our life and has bestowed on us all the comforts we can think of. We cannot do away with it too. We need both science and spirituality for a balanced, fulfilling and happy life. Can science and spirituality be reconciled? Can there be a union between the two? These questions keep agitating our minds. We believe that universal peace is possible only if science and spirituality are integrated.
I cordially invite you to attend this conference and share your vision with us. This letter is accompanied by a registration form and a worksheet to propose a presentation. The detailed brochure containing information about plenary sessions, panels and workshops is attached in PDF format. If you are interested, kindly read the brochure and guidelines for presenters and email the completed registration form and the worksheet if you have a proposal to speak.
We have already received acceptances from some highly respected spiritual leaders and scientists and responses from across the world are overwhelming. We will keep you updated.
