जैन श्वेताम्बर तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ का महाकुंभ कहा जाने वाले मार्यादा महोत्सव के 154वें आयोजन के लिए ओड़िशा राज्य के कटक शहर में जैन श्वेताम्बर तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ के एकादशमाधिशास्ता, भगवान महावीर के प्रतिनिधि, अहिंसा यात्रा के प्रणेता, शांतिदूत आचार्यश्री महाश्रमणजी अपनी धवल सेना के साथ शनिवार को पधारे तो मानों पूरा कटक महाश्रमणमय बन गया और चारों बिखर सद्भाव के फूल जिनके द्योतक बनी विशाल जनमेदिनी जिसे देख यह मालूम करना मुश्किल था कि यह केवल एक समाज के संत का आगमन है या संपूर्ण मानव समाज का कल्याण करने वाले महासंत का।
उत्कल धरा पर पहली बार कटक में आयोजित होने जा रहे इस मर्यादा के महाकुंभ मर्यादा महोत्सव के लिए शनिवार को सर्वप्रथम महातपस्वी आचार्यश्री महाश्रमणजी अपनी श्वेत सेना के साथ गोपालपुर से प्रस्थान किया। उत्साह से सराबोर कटकवासी ही नहीं इस मंगल अवसर का साक्षी बनने के लिए देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों से श्रद्धालु आचार्यश्री की सन्निधि में पहुंच चुके थे। जैसे-जैसे आचार्यश्री कटक शहर के नजदीक होते जा रहे थे श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ बढ़ती जा रही थी। आचार्यश्री कुछ किलोमीटर का विहार कर बीके रोड स्थित सेकेण्डरी बोर्ड हाइस्कूल में पधारे। वहां कुछ घंटे प्रवास कर आचार्यश्री निर्धारित समय पर मर्यादा महोत्सव के मंगल प्रवेश के लिए मंगल प्रस्थान किया तो वहां से आरम्भ हुआ महातपस्वी के मंगल प्रवेश का भव्य जुलूस। श्वेत सेना का नेतृत्व करते महातस्वी के ज्योतिचरण बढ़े वैसे-वैसे विशाल और भव्य जुलूस अपनी विभिन्न कृतियों, साजो-सज्जा, मनोहर दृश्यों व वेशभूषा के साथ अपने आराध्य की अभिवन्दना करते हुए चल पड़े।
भव्य, विशाल व नयनाभिराम जुलूस जब महानदी के किनारे से निकला तो मानों अद्भुत नजारा बन गया। एक तरफ महानदी की धवल धारा प्रवाहित हो रही थी तो दूसरी ओर महातपस्वी महाश्रमणजी की धवल सेना कटक में मर्यादा महोत्सव के मंगल प्रवेश के लिए गतिमान थी। आचार्यश्री भव्य और विशाल जुलूस के साथ कटक के बाराबाती अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्टेडियम के समीप बने सचिन तेंदुलकर इंडोर हाॅल के सन्निकट शुभ मुहूर्त से पूर्व ही पधार गए तो आचार्यश्री ने कुछ मिनट के स्टेडियम के पीछे बने एनसीसी (नेशनल केडिट कोर) के हेड क्वार्टर की बिल्डिंग में विराजे और जैसे ही घड़ी की सूई ने लगभग 1.51 मिनट पर पहुंची आचार्यश्री ने उक्त हाॅल में 154वें मर्यादा महोत्सव के मंगल प्रवेश किया। इस दौरान जनमेदिनी द्वारा हो रहे जयनिनादों से वातावरण गुंजायमान हो उठा।
हाॅल में समायोजित प्रथम मंगल प्रवचन में सर्वप्रथम आचार्यश्री महाश्रमण मार्यादा महोत्सव प्रवास व्यवस्था समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री मोहनलाल सिंघी, कटक तेरापंथी सभाध्यक्ष श्री मोहनलाल चोरड़िया ने अपनी हर्षाभिव्यक्ति दी। इसके उपरान्त कटक तेरापंथ महिला मंडल व तेरापंथ युवक परिषद के ने पृथक-पृथक स्वागत गीत के द्वारा आचार्यश्री की अभ्यर्थना की।
तत्पश्चात् तेरापंथ धर्मसंघ की महाश्रमणी साध्वीप्रमुखाजी ने लोगों को सौभाग्य से प्राप्त सुअवसर का संपूर्ण लाभ उठाने की पावन प्रेरणा प्रदान की। आचार्यश्री ने कटक की धरा पर अपना प्रथम मंगल प्रवचन प्रदान करते हुए कहा कि दुनिया में अनेक उत्कृष्ट चीजे हैं। जो जिस क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट व विशेष रत्न होता है। जिसकी ज्यादा उपयोगिता होती है वह भी रत्न होता है। जैसे जल के बिना लंबे काल तक जीवन संभव नहीं तो जल भी रत्न है। अनाज भी रत्न है उसी प्रकार सुभाषित वाणी भी रत्न है। एक सुन्दर वाणी जीवन की दिशा व दशा बदलने वाली हो सकती है।
दुनिया में उत्कृष्ट मंगल धर्म है। अहिंसा, संयम और तप धर्म है। कोई किसी संप्रदाय अथवा पंथ का हो अहिंसा, संयम और तप रहना खास बात होती है। जिसका मन धर्म मंे रत रहता है उसे देवता भी नमस्कार करते हैं। मंगल के लिए आदमी को धर्म की आराधना करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। आचार्यश्री ने इस अवसर पर आचार्य भिक्षु, आचार्य जयाचार्य, आचार्य तुलसी और आचार्य महाप्रज्ञजी का स्मरण करते हुए कहा कि कटक में 154वें मर्यादा महोत्सव के लिए कटक में आना हुआ है। आचार्य महाप्रज्ञजी का मानों आशीर्वाद था जो मर्यादा महोत्सव के लिए यहां आए हैं। यहां मार्ग में अनेक समाज के लोग मिले मानों यहां कोई सद्भावना का वातावरण नजर आ रहा था। यहां के लोगों में भी सद्भावना, नैतिकता व नशामुक्ति के भाव परिपुष्ट हों, मंगलकामना।
