Introduction to Sanskrit and Jain Prayers
Further to a successful and oversubscribed Introductory course in Sanskrit and Understanding of Jain prayers in September 2020, JVB London is pleased to offer you the same course commencing 7 November 2020.
The course will be conducted by Dr. Shweta Jain, Dr. Jaishree Singhvi & Dr. Hemlata Jain, all of whom have Masters & PhD qualifications in Sanskrit. There will be 12 online sessions every Saturday between 3pm - 4pm (UK time).
The course is open to all adults (18 years & above) and from any where in the world.
The fee for the course is £35 per person for the entire 12 week course. If you wish to do so, we will be grateful for payment of £50 as additional donation to JVB London.
No previous experience of Sanskrit is required. This is a golden opportunity for all to learn Sanskrit which is considered to be the language of the Gods and get a better understanding of the meanings and essence of our Jain prayers.

External Event - Talk on How to Build Jain Search Engine
Cambridge University Jain Society in collaboration with Imperial Jain Society has organised a talk by Anish Visaria in USA on Saturday 24 October 2020 between 4pm - 5pm (UK time).
Anish is a computer engineer and has created a search engine called JAIN QUANTUM which can search the minutest details within online Jain literature.
All are welcome to listen to how modern technology is being applied to further our knowledge of Jainism.
