The spokesman saint of Ahimsa Yatra, Muni Lok Prakash [Lokesh Muni] leading a delegation, called upon the Prime Minister, Dr. Man Mohan Singh in the Parliament house and discussed various burning issues of national interest, such as the prevailing terrorism and violence, need for communal harmony and national integration and the impact of Ahimsa Yatra undertaken by Acharya Mahaprajna to overcome these problems.
The Prime Minister, appreciating the objectives of Ahimsa Yatra mentioned that this programme of Ahimsa Yatra is not only an ideal for Jain community but it is a source of inspiration for the whole country.
He added that it is necessary for every citizen to rise above personal and party interests and petty considerations for achieving national unity and the efforts being made by Acharya Mahaprajnaa in this direction bear great significance.
Muni Lok Prakash handed over a message carrying the blessings from Acharya Mahapragya to Dr. Man Mohan Singh.
The much-publicised Ahimsa Yatra, led by the Terapanth Chief, Acharya Mahapragya would be entering Delhi on the 27th June, 2005, where the Acharya will be holding his four-monthly stay (chaturmas).
