Surat Spiritual Declaration

In October 2003 fifteen different religious heads and scholars had gathered in Surat, Gujarat, India, drafting a declaration to bring about communal amity and spirituality in society. This so-called Garland Project for social and spiritual cooperation was presented on October 15th 2003 to the President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on the day of his birthday by Acharya Mahaprajna.
