Jain Vishva Bharati University in Ladnun, Rajasthan, India, established in 1991 on the inspiration of Acharya Tulsi, is an autonomous registered society, which was sponsored and financed by its parent organisation – the Jain Vishva Bharati (JVB), Ladnun, which is a philanthropic society established in 1970.

Regular Courses:

Presently, JVBU offers regular, residential two-year postgraduate degree courses and three year undergraduate courses commencing from September every year in the following disciplines:

  • Jainololgy and Comparative Religion & Philosophy.
  • Science of Living, Preksha Meditation and yoga.
  • Non-Violence, Anuvrat, and Peace Studies.
  • Prakrit and Jaina Agama.
  • Social Work.
  • Bachelor of Social Work.(B.S.W.)
Other Courses:
  • Directorate of Distance Education.
  • Extension Programme

Many Jain nuns and monks from different Jain sanghs participate in JVBI's correspondence examens.
