Citizen Honoring Function of Acharya Mahapragya

“Non-violence will automatically be adopted if causes of violence is first understand deeply and then attempt would made to avoid that.” Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhra Raje accepting this statement of Acharya Mahapragya emphasised the importance of non violence for taking the state on way of peace and prosperity. Editor of Rajasthan Patrika Shri Gulab Kothari said that foundation for healthy society is possible only on non voilence. He said that the Acharya Mahapragya is the mobile laboratory for personality development. He while discussing the science & religion said that in science equipment is the base for any experiment and in field of religion; man is the equipment for experiment.

These views were expressed on the occasion of Citizen Honoring Function of Acharya Mahapragya in the presence of representatives of all religions in Jaipur on Thursday April 24, 2008. The function was presided by editor of Rajasthan Patrika Shri Gulab Kothari and chief guest was Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhra Raje. Chief Minister attended the function in the Mahila mandal dress code “Saffron saree”.In the grand ceremony of welcome, representatives of nearly 60 communities express their gratitude and respect towards Acharya Mahapragya. A bouquet of communal harmony was presented by the representatives of Hindu, Muslim, and Christian & Sikh community by making their presence collectively in honoring function.

Special guests of function were State Home minister Gulab Bhargav & state Education minister Kalicharan Saraf. State Home Minister Gulab chand Kataria & MLA Mohan lal Gupta was also present in function.

In his speech, Acharya Mahapragya told that today actions are taken to stop the violence but attention is not giving to the main causes. For abolishing violence, cause is required to be find out. He further said that human emotions are vanishing in between the big buildings. Today’s necessity is to raise the human & moral values along with the high rising buildings. Government & intellectuals in society needs to be think that no one in Rajasthan suffers from hunger, poverty & landles. He said inspite of saying Non violence is religion, say Aparigraha (limitation to excess) is the religion. This Representative of some of the institutions that welcomed Acharya Mahapragya were president of minority commission Sardar Jasbir Singh, President of Maullana Abdul Kalam Azad Foundation Habib Garnet, regional President of Jamate Islame Hind Engineer Mohd. Salem, President of Samagra Seva Sangh Sawai Singh, John Methu from Christian Fellowship, Damaodar Modi from Vyasya society, President of Jaipur Terapant Pannalal Vaid, President of All India Digamber Society Vivek kala, President of Jaipur Terapant Women wing Saubhag Baid.
