samvara (tattva)
state of alertness
The cause of the stoppage of influx of karma;
it is an intrinsic mutation of jīva (soul), responsible for the inhibition of the influx of karma-pudgala, inasmuch as it shuts the doors of the ingress of karma (āśrava-dvāra);
Being a mutation of jīva, it is a modification of the jīva tattva.
