Develop the consciousness of vows in life - Acharya Mahapragya
Bidasar, 5 February 2009.
The 79th Initiation Day of Acharya Mahapragya is celebrated as a "Youth Day" with youngster's enthusiasm in delighted atmosphere at Srimad Maghva Samavasaran on 5 Feb. 09.
Addressing the huge gathering on his initiation day, Acharya Mahapragya said that initiation has been placed at high level in both Jain and Vedic culture. Every one should initiate himself by taking some vows & puts some limitations in life. Those which are away from these limits are indirectly inviting troubles & dangers. Those who have decorated the life with some rules & vows are awakening all the time. I too got initiated on Magh Shukla Dashmi and found myself as the luckiest to have a shadow & guidance of Acharya Kalugani. This is only because of the blessings of gurudev that I have reached to the current level despite being born & brought up in a very small village.
He said that I believes that terapanth has a discipline & non-absolutism in his culture and always looking forward to new thoughts and development and it is not less than a boon for me to have this silver spoon in mouth by birth. Sharing the basics of his development, he discloses "when a seed gets proper nourishment, it grows & spreads. Silky guidance of Acharya Kalugani and tough discipline of Tulsi mold me to unlock the potentials in my life. He stressed that person should motivate himself to be initiated for the life of vows & rules. If awareness is ignited for the 12 householder's vows, then many problems inclusive of current economic crisis can be overcome.
Yuvacharya Mahashraman expressing his wishes told that it is a great tresureable cherishing moments for whole Terapanth to celebrate the 79th Diksha Day of Acharya Mahapragya. He had committed himself to 8TH Acharya Kalugani in early childhood. His selfless commitment has gifted him the new horizon of development and the same is proving a great boon for society. On this eve, a step forward to include vows & rules in life by the young generation will be the great gift to him. His 79th Initiation day has created a new record of any monk's diksha span in Terapanth. I wish him the long & healthy life.
Many saints, nuns & other people have expressed their greetings through poems, songs and speeches.
On this occasion of entering into the path less travelled, I too grasp this opportunity to greet H.H. Acharya Mahapragya in all verbal non-verbal ways and wish that he continue to create the never-ending symphony of peace & non-violence to chill the global warming of restlessness & violence.
