After the celebration of the great festival of Paryushana, we are now preparing for the celebration of the festival of Deepavali. Deepavali is an Indian festival and celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs as well as Jains. In Jain tradition Deepavali is one of the great festivals known as Mahavir Nirvana Divas as Lord Mahavir attained liberation on that day.
