Acharya Sri Mahapragya’s unparalleled work ‘THE HAPPY AND HARMONIOUS FAMILY” was released in a grand function on Sunday at Sudharma Sabha of Jain Vishwa Bharati, Ladnun.� The first book of the edition published, was released in a celebration, by Acharya Mahapragya ji in joint auspices of Harper and Collins Publishers along with Jain Vishwa Bharati, Ladnun. The celebration started with a Chorus by group of Samaniji.�
In his address to the function, the president of Jain Vishwa Bharati - Mr. Surendra Choraria expressed that by publishing this work, Harper and Collins publishers, a unit of international repute it has undertaken the task of conveying to the world, the thought of a happy family organization as imagined by H.H. Acharya Mahapragyaji.� In the family context Swati Baid found the book a pathfinder.� The translator of this book by Acharya Mahapragya, Mukhya Ninyojika Sadhvi Vishrutvibha ji while detailing on the subject matter of the book, explained its contents.�
Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakprabha ji expressed concern over the growing influence of westernization on the Indian Social Structure and narrated that this book is useful in present social scenario. Sri Krishna Chopra, the Chief Editor of Harper and Collins Publishers presented a copy of the book to Acharya Mahapragya and Mr. Ranjit Kothari, Chief Trustee of Jain Vishwa Bharti presented a copy to Yuvacharya Mahashraman ji.�
Addressing the function Yuvacharya Mahashraman ji quoted both the book and the writer about the utility of the book for the family peace.� Further he précised the simplicity of explaining the Hearty way of conducting the family.� At present single families are more common against joint families.� He suggested Joint Family a healthier system over single family system.� But growing hatred and contracting relations are reasons for vanishing joint families.� In his book emphasizing the back ground of joint families, it has also mentioned the benefits of harmony in a family.
Similarly, the writer of the book, Acharya Sri Mahapragya said he himself is not much in association with the family but he understands the problems very well.� He said the family builds only where Love, Mercy, Detachment, Tolerance converge.� � He said life doesn’t work in absence of mutual trust.� Utmost faith can only happen in the family.� The nucleus of joint family is commitment of assurance, trust and faith amongst members.� Its safety cover is tolerance and tolerance has its breath of life in relativity.� In the present era the power of tolerance is exhausting.� For this reason mutuality and feeling of dependence on each other is also reducing.� In this book it is expressed with force on the ways to make joint family long living through emotional development of tolerance and relativity.� Formulations a many are given for the training and practice in the book, where one can easily develop co-existence, tolerance, humbleness, affection, gratitude, assurance, trust and faith in the leaderships.�
