Valedictory Function at JVB London

After the completion of the one-week training programme, a valedictory function was organised at Jain Vishva Bharati on 11 November 2009. As a key note speaker, Dr. Rakeshbhai Jhaveri was invited to that event. The programme began at 8pm with the recitation of Namaskar Mahamantra by Samaniji and Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri. A song ‘Shanti ka sandesh’, composed by Acharya Mahapragya was sung by Saggar Malde. Balvant Maru, the president of JVB, presented a welcome speech. Samani Rohit Pragya read out a message provided by H.H. Acharya Mahapragya for this special occasion. Samani Prasanna Pragya spoke about the importance of training. Dr. S. L. Gandhi shared his observations of the course. He appreciated the discipline of participants and the management of JVB organization. Shri Manick Choraria, the secretary of JVB introduced Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri and on behalf of JVB, Dr. S. L. Gandhi honoured him with literature. Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri spoke on ‘Ahimsa Paramo Dharma’.

The participants of the course also shared their experience and paid their gratitude towards Samanijis and Dr. S. L. Gandhi for conducting this training programme. All the sponsors of the course were honoured with books written by Acharya Mahapragya. Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri awarded a certificate of participation to all participants. Ashok Gudka, one of the trustees of JVB committee presented a vote of thanks. The event was hosted very systematically by Dinesh Shah. The closing ceremony was concluded with recitation of Mangal Path by Samanijis and Shri Rakeshbhai Jhaveri.
