A Change Of Direction And Path For Non-Violence
In the continuous and ongoing efforts in the field of innovation in education systems, social reforms and international peace, Acharya Shri Mahapragya has now put his focus on a Non-Violent Globe. This is in keeping with the present scenario of the world in which we hear news of war and terrorism almost everyday. He has started a unique journey called Ahimsa Yatra' to spread the message of non-violence, fraternity, brotherhood and peace.
This yatra has been started on 5th December, 2001 at Sujangarh to inspire that consciousness which is non-violent and for the development of moral values of people. This Ahimsa Yatra, which will conclude in 2006 at Haryana itself travelled through Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Daman, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Punjab.
The main objective of Ahimsa Yatra is to transform the negative emotions into positive ones through some effective processes. Acharya Shri says that problems like poverty, corruption, injustice, crime and pollution cannot be solved just by training the basic principles of religion and social system. These can only be solved by awakening the Consciousness for Non-Violence and providing job-oriented training to the people for their smooth livelihood.
Acharya Shri specifies that the vision of Ahimsa Yatra and its programmes be not based on mere non-achievable imaginations. The edifice of its structure is based on practical and achievable foundations. Whatever can be achieved and changed in due course of time in the direction of curtailing violence has only been set forth as the objective of this great expedition.
Acharya Shri firmly believes that a strong determination and commitment is absolutely necessary for the people who would like to dedicate themselves for the cause of Non-Violence.
