Maskhaman Tapasya Abhinandan in Presence of Sadhvi Shri Dr. Kundanrekha Ji

Maskhaman Tapasya Abhinandan (Greeting & Welcoming Ceremony) of Smt. Ramkali Devi Jain, W/o - Sri Suresh Jain of Kesinga was organized in presence of Sadhvi Dr. Kundan Rekha Ji.

Maskhaman refers to being without food for 1 month, that is fasting for  1 month, in maskhaman the person only takes water & Doesn’t take anything else. We can’t think of staying without food for 1 day, but Maskhaman tapaswi stays without food for 1 month.

With the blessings of gurudev & in presence of Sadhvisri Ji a total of 4 maskhamans have already been completed in Kesinga & around 81 athai (8 days without food) have already been completed in the CHATURMAS, still long queue of people are doing tapasyas (Fasting).  In the occasion of 5OTH janma  jayanti (Birthday) of Terapanth’s 11th Successor - Acharya shri Mahashraman Ji, all these tapasyas (Fasting) are  presented in Honour of gurudev. Gurudev’s jayanti is celebrated as Amrit Mahotsav.

On this occasion a huge rally started from the house of Ramkali Devi, the rally walked in the whole town, a huge crowd gathered in the rally. The rally then reached the Jain Bhawan where the abhinandan samahro (greeting event) was organized.  Number of people greeted the tapaswi.

Jain Swetambar Terapanthi Sabha, Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Terapanth Mahila Mandal Kesinga greeted & welcomed the tapaswi. Ramkali Devi was also greeted by sadhvishri ji.

Sadhvi Shri Dr. Kundan Rekha ji uttered song for the tapaswi. It’s the kind heart of Sadhvi shri ji that in all abhinandan events she makes songs for tapaswis by own & utters it for tapaswis.

The chief guest for the event was Shri Binod Jain from Kantabhanji. Chief speaker for the event was Shri Ram Kumar Jain from Kesinga.
