On 18th February 2007, at Raipur, capital of Chhatisgarh a seminar was held on Jain Sanskar Vidhi at Terapanth Bhawan, Sadar Bazar. Sri Ratanlal Daga, chairman of Raipur municipal corporation presided the seminar. An audience of approximately 250 people participated in the seminar on the effect of actions in regard of limiting objects of daily use. Jain Sanskar Vidhi notes the importance of simplicity and aims to avoid unnecessary violence for celebration of family functions or social festivals. Recitation of Jain Mantras supports development of consciousness in this regard, as they are powerful means to influence and change one's inner structures.
All India president of Terapanth Yuvak Parishad (youth organisation) and expert of Jain Sanskar Vidhi, Sri Ratan Dugar along with Sri Sushil Choraria gave training on the topic. Terapanth Yuvak Parishad promotes the system of observing rules relied to the 12 Vows of a Householder in daily life (Jain Sanskar Vidhi) all over India and encourages people to get awareness of realisation thereof in their lives.
